Lotte debuts premium eggs for holiday gift

A set of eggs from a certified animal welfare farm is on display at Lotte Department Store in Seoul on Sept. 13, 2017, as one of the holiday gifts it is selling for this year's Chuseok (harvest moon) holiday. A consumer scare has yet to subside after some of the country's eggs were found to be tainted with pesticides, which led Lotte to offer those that are certified clean and safe. A set of 30 eggs will be sold for 25,500 won (US$22.60). (Yonhap) (END)
