Seoul mulls resuming aid to N. Korea

Unification Ministry spokesman Baik Tae-hyun announces in Seoul on Sept. 14, 2017, that South Korea is considering giving US$8 million in humanitarian aid to North Korea through international organizations. Seoul suspended U.N.-led assistance to the North last year after Pyongyang's fourth nuclear test in January. The government is scheduled to meet on Sept. 21 to make a final decision on whether to resume the aid. (Yonhap) (END)
