Despite a 2-1 loss in Seville last week, Tottenham coach Martin Jol still has eyes for a semi final spot in the UEFA Cup.
Should Tottenham achieve that against Sevilla at White Hart Lane on Thursday, the boss believes it would be a huge boost for the club.

"For the club it is a very important game because I feel that if we could go to the semi finals that would be a terrific thing. If you know our history, we won the UEFA Cup twice - so there is a big link with the past and of course we did better than ever to be in the UEFA Cup because that is what we worked hard for. Now we are there and we have played nine games, we managed to win eight and I still feel we could have done a bit better against Sevilla. But OK, it didn't happen and now we have to put it right tomorrow night."

Also plenty of praise for the state of English football from the Dutch coach.
He now hopes Spurs can follow the lead of the three English clubs in the Champions League.
SOUNDBITE: (English)
"This year there is three different English clubs, with Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea. Arsenal of course are out of everything - they were there last year. We are doing well in the UEFA Cup and that is the evidence that I feel that the Premiership is now probably the strongest league in the world, certainly in Europe."

UEFA defending champions Sevilla hold a narrow 2-1 aggregate advantage in the tie, with coach Juande Ramos hoping Freddie Kanoute, once of Tottenham, can add to that on Thursday night.
