    The AFC's Director of Competitions was the man in charge for Wednesday's Asian Champions League draw. Carlos Nohra pulled defending champions Jeonbuk Motors out of the pot first, pairing them with Japanese champions Urawa Reds in the competition's first quarter final. Also at the Asian Football Confederation's headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal were drawn against Abu Dhabi-based Al Wahda, Iran's Sepahan take on Kawasaki Frontale of Japan and 2006 losing finalists Al Karama of Syria play Seongnam Chunma In the final last eight match-up. The first legs of the quarter finals are set for September the 19th. Earlier, the draw for the final round of the Asian Olympic qualifiers was also held at the same venue. Australia were drawn in Group A along with North Korea, Lebanon and Iraq, Group B includes Korea, Bahrain, Syria and Uzbekistan while Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Vietnam make up Group C.
