  • lly react after 2-2 draw against North Korea at Women's World Cup

SOUNDBITE (English) "North Korea is a fantastic team. They played very attacking football and defended very well tonight. You know I think there were chances for US to win and also for North Korea to win. We knew it would be a difficult group this would be and it is proven to be a difficult group. But I'm very proud of my players especially to come back in a game after giving up two goals when we were a man down. I'm very proud that we came back to get a draw and have an opportunity to win the game." SUPERCAPTION: Greg Ryan, USA coach SOUNDBITE (English) "It was a thrill, I mean this is every kid's dream. One to start in the World Cup and secondly to score in a World Cup. So, I'm walking away pleased with the goal. I think that it's mixed feelings. Obviously would have wanted to win along with that. But we got the point and it's moving towards Sweden now". SUPERCAPTION: Heather O'Reilly, USA SOUNDBITE (English) "I'm disappointed in the result, but I'm not disappointed with our team. I think our team fought 'til the end and getting a point out of that after being down a goal, for that period you know, is a good result for us. Getting a point, being positive, moving on to the next game is always better than having zero point. So we look forward to playing the next game." SUPERCAPTION: Kristine Lilly, USA captain
