Marseille coach Eric Gerets could reflect on a surprise victory at Anfield late Wednesday, the Dutchman's first game in charge saw Marseille shock Liverpool 1-0 at home, the first French team to ever win a European tie at the famous ground. SOUNDBITE: (French) Gerets says: "Well it's not me who has created history, if any history has been created it's by my players. I was just on the side line. Obviously as a manager you'd still pay to play, but it's all about the players. What they did tonight was fantastic. We made a few technical errors, but in terms of tactics we didn't make any mistakes whatsoever." SUPER CAPTION: Eric Gerets, Marseille coach. Gerets believes Wednesday's win is just the beginning, Marseille struggling in 17th place in France's Ligue 1 when he replaced Albert Emon last week. SOUNDBITE: (French) "We've got to remember that even though we are celebrating tonight, we're nowhere yet. We've got a game next Saturday almost equally as difficult. Let me just say the club needed a success like this, we needed a lift, and hopefully that's going to give the club a real boost for the next few games." SUPERCAPTION: Eric Gerets, Marseille coach. Gerets' Marseille now lead Champions League Group A with six points from two games, Liverpool slide down to third.
