(Asiad) S. Korea to face Iran in men's basketball final
By Yoo Jee-ho
INCHEON, Oct. 2 (Yonhap) -- South Korea will take on Iran in the men's basketball final Friday, the penultimate day of the Asian Games.
The tip-off will be 6:15 p.m. at Samsan World Gymnasium.
South Korea last won an Asiad gold in men's hoops in 2002, with a dramatic come-from-behind win over the mighty China at home in Busan.
Iran has won the bronze medal in each of the past two Asiads and will try to capture its first-ever Asian Games title.
South Korea will also seek more medals from soft tennis and modern pentathlon.
The final day for taekwondo is also Friday. Kim Tae-hun, in the men's 54kg, will be the lone South Korean in action. He's the 2013 world champion.
