KBO playoff game rained out
CHANGWON, South Korea, Oct. 20 (Yonhap) -- A South Korean baseball playoff game between the LG Twins and the NC Dinos was rained out on Monday.
Steady drizzle forced cancellation of Game 2 of the first round playoff series in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, about 400 kilometers southeast of Seoul, home of the Dinos. The game will instead be played on Tuesday at the same location.
The Twins defeated the Dinos 13-4 Sunday to open their best-of-five series.
The Dinos, in their second year of existence, earned their first postseason ticket by finishing third in the regular season. The Twins squeaked into the playoffs as the fourth seed on the final day of the regular season.
