(LEAD) Baseball postseason game rained out for second day

CHANGWON, South Korea, Oct. 21 (Yonhap) -- Rain has canceled a South Korean playoff baseball game for a second straight day.
The second game of the opening Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) playoff series between the NC Dinos and the LG Twins at Masan Baseball Stadium was rained out on Tuesday. It will instead be played on Wednesday, weather permitting, here in Changwon, home of the Dinos, about 400 kilometers southeast of Seoul.
Steady drizzle had earlier postponed Game 2 of this best-of-five series on Monday. The KBO said it is only the second time in league history that a postseason game has been postponed due to rain on back-to-back days.
The Twins took the first game 13-4 on Sunday.
Wednesday was supposed to have been a travel day for the Twins and the Dinos, as the third and the fourth game, if necessary, are to take place at the Twins' home in Seoul. With the second straight rain delay, the teams will instead travel to Seoul on Thursday -- if Game 2 goes on as scheduled on Wednesday.
With the second game having been pushed back twice, both teams have also changed their scheduled starters.
The Dinos said they will start right-hander Eric Hacker, and the Twins said they will send right-hander Woo Kyu-min to the mound on Wednesday.
Earlier, the Dinos were scheduled to start right-hander Charlie Shirek against the Twins' right-hander, Cory Riordan.
Though they have been inactive since the opening game on Sunday, players on both teams said they should have little trouble getting back into rhythm when the series resumes.
Oh Ji-hwan, shortstop for the Twins, said he will try to enjoy the playoff run while it lasts.
"We have nothing to fear because we barely got into the postseason," Oh said of the Twins' clinching the final playoff spot on the last day of the regular season. "Both teams are going through the same situation anyway. I hope we can all have fun in the postseason."
Na Sung-bum, outfielder for the Dinos, said he was pleased to receive another day of rest.
"It's given me more time to think (about the series) and I like it," Na said. "The players are ready to play at any moment. We'll try to win tomorrow."
