More than 30 people injured in multiple car pile-up

CHEONAN, South Korea, Nov. 1 (Yonhap) -- More than 30 people were injured on Sunday in a multiple car pile-up on a major highway linking Seoul, the capital, with the country's southern port city of Busan, police said Saturday.
The accident took place at 7:06 p.m. on a section of the Gyeongbu highway near the central city of Cheonan, they said.
Five passenger vehicles and as many tourist buses rear-ended each other, sending 36 people injured, police said, adding that there were no deaths.
An investigation was under way to determine the exact cause of the accident, police said.
