Bus carrying about 20 S. Koreans plunges off bridge in northeastern China

JIAN, China, July 1 (Yonhap) -- A bus carrying about 20 South Koreans on Wednesday plunged off a bridge in the Chinese city of Jian, northeastern province of Jilin, a South Korean official said.
The accident took place as of around 2 p.m., said the official at the South Korean Consulate in the northeastern Chinese city of Shenyang.
The extent of their injuries was not immediately clear.
"We are trying to figure out the exact situation of damages," the official said.
