SEJONG, Nov. 19 (Yonhap) -- Harbor officials from six nations will visit South Korea to learn about advanced harbor development technology and share management know-how, the oceans ministry here said Sunday.

The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries said it invited 12 senior officials from six nations - Ukraine, Fiji, Vietnam, Laos, Georgia and Pakistan -- to introduce them to South Korea's harbor development and management technology and to share opinions at an international workshop to be held from Nov. 20-24.

During the workshop, the attendees will visit the nation's major port facilities and a vessel traffic control center in Busan, the southeastern coastal city that serves as the nation's maritime gateway.

They will also meet with Korean company officials to discuss potential business opportunities in the oceans industry, the ministry said.
