Psy's 'Gangnam Style' video hits 3 billion YouTube views
SEOUL, Nov 26 (Yonhap) -- The music video of Psy's "Gangnam Style" registered more than 3 billion views on YouTube at 8 a.m. Sunday, continuing to smash the video-sharing site's records, according to his agency YG Entertainment.
The electro-dance song, released in July 2012, and the signature horse-riding dance made the quirky rapper and singer a global star and helped spread the popularity of Korean pop music.
Psy currently has six music videos with more than 100 million hits on YouTube, including "Gentleman" with over 1.1 billion views, and "Daddy" and "Hangover," each with over 300 million views.
