S. Korea, Ukraine agree to boost economic cooperation
SEOUL, April 24 (Yonhap) -- South Korea and Ukraine agreed Tuesday to boost bilateral economic cooperation, Seoul's finance ministry said.
During a meeting with First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv, South Korean Finance Minister Kim Dong-yeon said South Korea's prowess in the IT, aerospace and other sectors would help support bilateral economic cooperation.
Kubiv, who is also Minister of Economic Development and Trade, said more South Korean companies should take part in his country's infrastructure development projects and the privatization of state-run firms, according to the ministry.
The two also agreed to expand human resource exchanges, it added.
