Hyundai Rotem wins 80 bln won train maintenance order in Brazil
SEOUL, June 22 (Yonhap) -- Hyundai Rotem Co., a train-making affiliate of Hyundai Motor Group, said Friday it won a 80 billion won (US$72 million) train maintenance order in Brazil.
For the four years from August this year, Hyundai Rotem will provide maintenance and repair services to 320 train cars operated by CPTM, a rapid transit company owned by the São Paulo state department, the company said in a statement.
Hyundai Rotem aims to bag more orders in developed and emerging markets as the global maintenance and repair market for rolling stock currently stands at 72 trillion won and will continue to grow down the road, it said.
