Samsung Heavy wins 412 bln won LNG ship order in North America

SEOUL, Aug. 20 (Yonhap) -- Samsung Heavy Industries Co. said Monday it has received a 412 billion won (US$368 million) order to build two liquefied natural gas carriers for a North American company by 2020.
The Korean shipbuilder confirmed it won the LNG ship order through a regulatory filing.
The company didn't provide the name of the client that placed the order.
