Minor earthquake hits eastern North Korea

SEOUL, Sept. 24 (Yonhap) -- A 2.8-magnitude earthquake struck eastern North Korea, South Korea's meteorological agency said Monday.
The Korea Meteorological Administration said the quake, detected around 5:38 p.m. in an area 30 kilometers northeast of Sinhung County, is believed to have occurred naturally.
