FSS to hold conference on Seoul's role in sustainable finance
SEOUL, Oct. 15 (Yonhap) -- The Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) said Monday it will host a conference this week to discuss ways for Seoul to become a city of sustainable finance.
The one-day conference, set for Tuesday in Seoul, also aims to discuss various challenges facing the financial industry over climate change, the FSS said in a statement.
The conference, named the Seoul International Finance Conference 2018, is jointly organized by the FSS and the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
Leonie Schreve, ING's global head of sustainable finance, will give a keynote speech at the conference.
About 300 financial experts and officials from home and abroad, including FSS Gov. Yoon Suk-heun, are scheduled to attend the conference, the FSS said.
