Pompeo to travel to N. Korea Oct. 7

WASHINGTON, Oct. 2 (Yonhap) -- U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will travel to North Korea next week to meet with its leader Kim Jong-un, the State Department said Tuesday.
Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said Pompeo plans to visit Pyongyang Sunday and then travel to Seoul on Monday to meet with South Korean President Moon Jae-in and Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha.
