 | | | | July 28, SEOUL, South Korea -- A group of high school students from Indonesia's minority tribe, the Cia-Cia, take a Korean alphabet, or "hangeul," class at a language institute at Ewha Women's University in Seoul on July 28. The students came here at the invitation of South Korea's Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. The tribe of some 80,000 people living in the city of Bau-Bau, located on Buton island in southeast Sulawesi, adopted the Korean language as its official writing system to transcribe its spoken language.
